  Came on over to the back yard deli on a Saturday afternoon in March. The city of Clear Lake is effectively deserted in the non-summer months and as such the food choices were a bit off as well. That said, this little spot was good for what we were looking for.
  
  The place is very inviting with seating for about 30. It's got a down home vibe and it's easy to see why. On the morning we came in, everyone knew everyone else and was having all sorts of conversation about anything and everything. Gave it a good feel
  
  The food was very average - appropriate for a place were looking to grab a quick bite. The sandwich I had was good and akin to something at a sub-shop. The better half had a salad that was good and out little dude had a pancake that was the size of his head. The breakfast offerings here were most impressive and something we'd grab if we make our way back this direction.
  
  All in all, this was a good, not great spot that would probably become a regular spot if we lived in town. Worth trying if you're in the area, but not worth going out of your way for.
